Shipping a stingray is no easy feat â to ensure their safety, it takes several crucial steps, according to SEA LIFE Michigan.
The aquarium said 5 stingrays and other sea creatures, including a bamboo shark, a bonnethead shark, a brown whip ray and three snowflake moray eels were sent to SEA LIFE New Jersey, which is opening in the spring.
According to a press release, the move is part of their efforts to create a stronger captive population and increase the number of ocean creatures in the wild.
