Kansas Gas begins meter replacements in Hutchinson
The project, which includes nearly 400 meters, is scheduled to take up to 10 weeks to complete.
“To continue to provide safe and reliable service, we conduct routine inspections of our natural gas meters to confirm they are operating properly and accurately recording natural gas usage,” said Lauren Clary, Kansas Gas Service area community relations manager.
“This is an annual project that we conduct in all of our operating areas, which includes replacing meters. We’ll make every effort to work as safely and quickly as possible to minimize the impact on our customers,” Clary said.
