Struck and killed. Just last night, a 50yearold woman was killed crossing at san jose avenue. We dont have one factor we can attribute this to. What we can say is at least two of the three we have had over the weekend was caused by improper crossing the street. In order, two of the three victims were jaywalking. We saw several instances of jaywalking earlier this year. People darting through traffic, even pushing a stroller. All in a place where the city has improved crosswalks.
