Wheel Of Fortune, esteemed co-host Vana White braved a lot more than touching some glass screens when things went awry with a confetti launcher. It was a momentous occasion for contestant Laura Trammell however, who became the first player to ever win a house in the bonus round. The major win was almost overshadowed by the mishap though. Luckily no injuries were reported. Seven Blanks To Victory The episode started off well as Trammell sailed to victory and reached the bonus round with a handsome sum of $23,690 in prize money. With only seven blanks on the screen and the possibility of a brand new car, a house, or six figures on the line, Trammell solved the puzzle with the phrase, “I caught a glimpse.”

PANAMA CITY BEACH  For Laura Trammell of Mission Viejo, California, appearing on Wheel of Fortune was truly an unbelievable blessing. In a Tuesday-night episode of the show, Trammell not only won a trip to Margaritaville Vacation Club St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, but her pick of a new home in one of the three Latitude Margaritaville communities, according to a Wheel of Fortune press release.  This includes Latitude Margaritaville Watersound, which is being built along State 79 near its intersection with State 388 through a partnership between the St. Joe Company, Margaritaville Holdings and Minto Communities USA. The other two locations are in Daytona Beach and Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The unfortunate incident happened on Tuesday, April 27 when contestant Laura Trammell was making a historic moment during the game show by becoming the first contestant ever to win a home, HollywoodLife.com reported. When Laura won the bonus round, confetti was released into the audience and the set, but something went wrong.
