CW Launches Seven Night 2021-22 Schedule
May 25, 2021 (Burbank, CA) â The CW Network will officially launch its new seven-night 2021-22 primetime schedule in Fall of 2021 with a strategic mix of new and returning original scripted series and alternative programming, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The CW Network. The CW’s 2021-22 network image campaign and new season highlight trailer features the newly released single “Higher Power” from the legendary band Coldplay.

After the pandemic forced The CW to hold much of its original programming until midseason and left the fall stacked with mostly acquisitions and imports, the youngest-skewing broadcast network is coming back strong in the 2021-2022 season with a lineup that shakes up every single night of the week except one. 4400 reboot has added five members to the cast in series regular roles. According to
Deadline, TL Thompson (Straight White Men), Cory Jeacoma (Power Book II: Ghost), Ireon Roach (School Girls; or the African Mean Girls Play), Derrick A. King (Call Your Mother), and newcomer Autumn Best have all joined the series. They join previously announced cast Joseph David-Jones and Khailah Johnson. The casting news comes on top of the first look at key art for the series as shared by the series on social media on Monday.
