Stylist Laura Mullett thought she was going for a simple walk to catch the sunrise with her boyfriend one Wednesday morning – little did she expect that she would be coming home with a fiancé just 30 minutes later.
The fashion editor and her partner have been dating for ten years and although she knew this moment would come one day, never in her wildest dreams did she imagine it could be this romantic.
Darren Cleary pulled off quite the spectacular proposal at Poolbeg Lighthouse, the weather Gods clearly rooting for him amidst forecasts of snow and stormy weather. Having chosen to pop the question at the iconic spot, he needed the wind speed and tides to work in his favour, and they did. He even arranged for a pal to capture the whole thing on video, breathtaking drone shots included.
