ohio, where dozens of dangerous animals escaped. a couple are still on the loose. leaves us with what we believe is only two animals that are missing from this farm. and one would be the nothing monkey. would be a monkey and another. tigers, bears and lions were freed, before he killed himself. officers moved in and gunned down at least 30 animals. we could not have animals running loose in this county. we were not going to have that. reporter: some animal rights groups are criticizing the sheriff for not using tranquilizers. but he has supporters. the sheriff has to make a decision. you can t say, i ll check on it in the morning. he had to do what he had to do, period. reporter: the animals did not attack anyone, but they put everyone in this small town on edge. we went to take care of the cattle this morning. and a couple of guys i went to work with took a gun with them. reporter: ken maxwell drove 50 miles from columbus, hoping to see an exotic animal.
