Antonio Freitas and Laura Heinzmann were arrested outside a local Sunoco station on March 9 after Patrol Officer Justin Switzer spotted the two inside a vehicle in the parking lot, according to a media release from the North Smithfield Police Department.

NORTH SMITHFIELD – The North Smithfield Police Department on Tuesday arrested two individuals after they received a tip someone was allegedly selling narcotics out of a motel room. Antonio Freitas and Laura Heinzmann were arrested after police found them sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Sunoco on Route 146. Police said they had received information that two individuals with a vehicle matching the one they were discovered in were allegedly selling narcotics out of a room at the nearby Traveler’s Motor Lodge. The two also had bench warrants out for their arrest, and Freitas had an expired license, according to police.
