Nearly 200 people gathered Thursday morning to hear directly from the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) at the 2nd annual Schools Make Madison Summit.
One Madison schools official noted that schools nationwide have seen an uptick in absenteeism but that Madison is starting to "see a recovery in terms of our attendance data."
