The latest bear sighting in our area comes Tuesday morning from White County.
Sarah Haley posted on her Facebook page three photos of a bear in her backyard. She lives about three miles north of Carmi. I was just sitting down for a cup of coffee with my quiet time and I was reading my bible study. Normally, I read in the front. But, I decided to go in the back room today just to be able to look outside because it was such a beautiful morning. So, I just saw this brown thing walking up by the garden. I got up and looked out the window and I couldn t believe it was a bear.
