There's a community of floating homes in Winona, Minnesota that I had never heard of before. They are literally on the Mississippi River and have no electricity or running water. Yet some people live here year-round.

Investigators may have identified a man found deceased in the Mississippi River on Friday, June 25.
According to Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) Chief Deputy Lee Engfer, law enforcement personnel are still working to confirm the identify of the man as of June 28. Winona County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) Chief Deputy Jeff Mueller said the man matches a missing person’s description, and law enforcement personnel think they have identified him; however, investigators are awaiting confirmation.
Foul play is not suspected at this time, Engfer said. Law enforcement officers are continuing to investigate what caused the man’s death, Mueller said.
