Two Rotterdam foster parents are facing several charges for the death of a 4-year-old boy in December.
Prosecutors say the boy, named Charlie, died from blunt force trauma to his liver and intestines. They say Dequan and Latrisha Greene waited to get help and then lied to investigators about how Charlie was hurt.
Charlie s 5-year-old brother survived, but was also treated at the hospital for serious injuries.
The Greenes also have three kids of their own, ranging in age from infancy to 5 years old. Investigators say work was underway to also move them from the home.
