During their regular meeting on Thursday, March 4, the Danville School Board heard an update on the work being done to plan for next school year.
For the 2021-2022 school year, students will still have the option to choose between face-to-face and virtual learning by responding to a survey sent out to parents.Â
Face-to-face students would be expected to be able to attend school five days per week, with reduced size classes to allow for social distancing. Personal Protective Equipment would be required.
For students who choose to remain virtual, they would be a part of the Virtual Academy, which would feature teachers devoted solely to remote learning. The academy would be housed at the former Taylor Elementary School location, where teachers would do both synchronous and asynchronous learning.
