This is the letter hand-written by Dubai s kidnapped Princess Latifa, begging British police to help her older sister who was captured by their sheikh ruler father 20 years ago, MailOnline can reveal.
The two pages of A4 lined paper, written in neat black pen, outline how Princess Shamsa – who fled Sheikh Mohammed al Maktoum s Surrey estate in 2000 - tried to escape her royal life.
Latifa, 34, who is herself being held against her will in Dubai by her father after trying to escape, claims Shamsa – now 38 - was enslaved and physically and mentally abused.
Addressing her letter To the Cambridge Police , Latifa wrote of Shamsa: She escaped because… she had no freedom of choice in her life and she was enslaved and oppressed and suffered physical abuse at the hands of family members.

Princess Latifa al Maktoum, the kidnapped daughter of Dubai s ruler Sheikh Mohammed, has asked British police to re-investigate the snatching of her older sister from a Cambridge street in a secret letter sent from captivity in Dubai.
Latifa has begged Cambridgeshire Police to start a new probe claiming it could help free Princess Shamsa, who was captured on the orders of their billionaire father after she fled his Surrey estate in 2000.
