Latics are next in action on Friday night when they host Colchester United
Conor McAleny bagged a brace as rampant Latics wrapped up their Easter double header on a huge high.
There was doom and gloom around Boundary Park on Good Friday evening after Keith Curle’s side lost 1-0 at home to Stevenage, but the team bounced back in style at Crawley on Easter Monday.
Latics triumphed 4-1 as Curle celebrated his second victory since taking over from Harry Kewell.
“We are picking up ideas and trying to play to our strengths,” said Curle.

Latics host Stevenage tomorrow afternoon (Good Friday)
Latics hope to lift the mood among their support base with a couple of positive performances on the field during the Easter break.
Keith Curle’s side – currently in 17th place in the table - face a couple of tricky League Two fixtures, starting tomorrow (Good Friday, 3pm) when they host Alex Revell’s rapidly improving Stevenage.
Boro were struggling badly heading towards the end of 2020, but they are currently unbeaten in 10 games are sit comfortably in 14th place in the standings.
Latics, who have won just once in their last eight matches, then face the long trek south to Crawley Town on Easter Monday.
Latics boss Keith Curle
Oldham Athletic’s new head coach is still in search of his first win at the helm of the Boundary Park club after suffering injury time heartbreak at Scunthorpe United.
All seemed to going to plan for Latics to collect all three points away from home when Alfie McCalmont gave them the lead just three minutes after halftime.
After a first half dominated by the home side, McCalmont fired in his sixth goal of the season through a host of bodies in the penalty areas after the Iron could only half clear a corner.
However that was to be, pretty much, the only highlight for Oldham as Scunthorpe regained control and nearly drew level as Jordan Clarke tried to catch Latics keeper Laurie Walker napping with a stinging shot from just outside the area, but the goalie was able to stand firm.

Latics boss Keith Curle
Keith Curle s first home game in charge of Latics ended in defeat as high-flying Cambridge sealed a 4-2 victory.
And all that after such a promising start, with the hosts soaring into a two-goal lead after only 11 minutes.
“I very much enjoyed the opening 25 minutes, said Curle, who replaced the sacked Harry Kewell last Monday.
“We got ourselves 2-0 in front and could have had more maybe, but we were up against a very good Cambridge team and they carry a real goal threat.
“Perhaps some of the players got a bit wrapped in the emotion of the day, though.

Latics host second-placed Cambridge United tomorrow
After a gritty goalless draw at Port Vale in his opening match in charge in midweek, new Latics boss Keith Curle is looking forward to welcoming high-flying Cambridge United to Boundary Park tomorrow.
The U’s have enjoyed a terrific League Two campaign so far and currently sit in second place in the table, though Latics did win 2-1 in the reverse fixture in early December.
Curle, who replaced the sacked Harry Kewell on Monday with Latics now 16th in the table, is clearly going to be putting his players through their paces.
