Several communities in Western New York are getting together for National Night Out in order to build a bond between neighbors, first responders, and law enforcement.
Many headed to Johnnie B. Wiley Thursday to register for a free air conditioner. The free units are available to those who were eligible through the HEAP program.
The vendor and farmers market also offers music and entertainment, exercise and mental health counseling. The event's name is a Swahili phrase for "come together."
