is in the judge s view, cosby is someone who is really a sexual predator, someone who is likely to offend again. i think that s one of the findings. svp is i have to jump in, katy. spoken just like a former federal prosecutor, but the statistics are markedly against people octogenarians reoffending, especially those that are blind. the argument that cosby is substantially likely to reoffend, while i understand if he is suffering from a mental ailment, on the other hand, the defense would have argued, and i m sure they did argue, that someone of his advanced age, the statistics are pretty strongly in favor of an argument that people cosby s age with his disability not only don t reoffend, they can t. but that s the argument that was made and the judge rejected. yes, in my opinion, older sexual offenders do tend to reoffend. but people can disagree on that.
