The flames brushed up to the fences of four homes but thats as far as it got. It took two hours to contain the fire. This fire broke out on hillcrest avenue just before 2 00 p. M. Nobody was hurt. Officials say it was hard to fight the fire because the house was packed with furniture and stourj. Firefighters also saved the kittens. One of the firefighters say he was looking for flames when he found them. I started to here the meows from the kittens. I stuck my head behind the refrigerator that was out and i saw a little head move. We sad some firefighter foam and water, a tiny newborn kitten stuck its head up. The firefighters gave the kittens oxygen after their ordeal. They appeared to be less than a week old. Animal control will take control of them.
