Al-shabaab Captures a Village in Puntland
Bosaso (PP News Desk) Al-shabaab militias have taken control of Milxo, a village which lies between Lasqoray and Durduri, and is under the jurisdiction of the coastal district controlled by Puntland.
Al-shabaab militias early in the morning attacked the village, where some villagers have unsuccessfully tried to repulse attackers.

Security sources told
Puntland Post that the Al-shabaab militias arrested Mohamed Jama Aar, the chairman of the village, and other notables. Telecommunications in the village have been put out of service.
The fall of Milxo comes in the wake of successful smuggling of light arms into Durduri, a village on the outskirts of Lasqorey, by Al-shabaab whose associates procured weaponry from war-torn Yemen.
