Der Kulturpreis des Landes Mecklenburg-Vorpommern geht erstmals an ein Künstlerduo: Lars Scheibner und Marcus Doering werden für ihre Arbeit an der Deutschen Tanzkompanie Neustrelitz ausgezeichnet. Dörte Kiehn erhält den Förderpreis.

Die Dirigentin Romely Pfund hat ihn ebenso bekommen wie der Schriftsteller Walter Kempowski und im vergangenen Jahr der langjährige Theaterintendant Wolfgang Bordel - den Kulturpreis des Landes Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Diese Auszeichnung wird seit 1994 verliehen, sie ist aktuell mit 10.000 Euro dotiert. In diesem Jahr geht sie an Lars Scheibner und Marcus Doering, die für eine Arbeit ausgezeichnet werden, die es so nur in Neustrelitz gibt.
