Within the span of two days, a Carroll man has been cited and arrested twice on traffic-related charges. It began on Tuesday, Dec. 15 when an officer with the Carroll Police Department was called to the 700 block of N. East Street for a backing accident. There was only minimal damage, but 25-year-old Larry Shipp was cited for unsafe backing, driving on a suspended license and failing to have insurance. The next day, Wednesday, Dec. 16, the 2004 Ford Explorer that was involved in the accident on Tuesday was pulled over at 5
th and East Streets at approximately 8 am. and Shipp was arrested for driving on a suspended license. Later in the day, at approximately 5:38 p.m., Shipp was located in the 400 block of East 6
Minimal damage resulted from a backing accident Tuesday in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department was called to the 700 block of N. East Street at approximately 12:09 p.m. and found that 25-year-old Larry Shipp of Carroll had struck a parked 2017 Malibu with a 2004 Ford Explorer while backing from a drive. Shipp was, however, charged with unsafe backing as well as driving on a suspended license and failing to have insurance.
