Maryland racing takes center stage this Saturday, when Laurel Park hosts the 37th running of the Jim McKay Maryland Million. This year’s Maryland Million racecard is one of the best yet, with at least 10 horses in the main body of 10 of the 12 races on the card, and six races with 14 horses in the main body.
Defending champion Prendimi, 2020 winner Monday Morning Qb and Ournationonparade, who tasted Maryland Million success as a 2-year-old in 2019, will be among a strong field of contenders for the $150,000 Classic on the 37th Jim McKay Maryland Million Day program Saturday at Laurel Park.
Delaware Park fan favorite, Madaket Stables, Ten Strike Racing, Michael Kisber and BTR Racing’s Whereshetoldmetogo, will be back to defend his title in the $100,000 New Castle Stakes at Delaware Park this Friday.
