In his State of the City Address, Superior Mayor Jim Paine highlighted plans to build a new skate park, pass laws against vaping, and fill the downtown area with art and music.

After a year of loss, financial and social struggle, Mayor Jim Paine highlighted the way Superior is emerging from a global pandemic and social struggle for equal justice: Stronger. Paine delivered his third state of the city speech Thursday, May 27 at the festival grounds at Cedar Lounge and Earth Rider Brewery. Last year, the annual speech was canceled because of the pandemic.
