Religious orthodoxy appears to be one answer to the process wherebymen are more likely to be preoccupied with work and leisure at theexpense of their families. Paradoxically, the continuing culturalbattles over family-related issues may motivate religiouslyorthodox men to devote themselves to their families and become moreprogressive in their approach to marriage and parenting.
