Texas Department of Public Safety trooper continues to recover from wounds he received in a shootout with a suspect in last week s workplace shooting in
Bryan, Texas. With him not able to attend his son s baseball game last night, DPS members decided to go to the game to show their support and stood on the sidelines cheering. We continue to pray for a speedy recovery and thank the community and all those who continue to offer kind and inspiring words, said DPS in a tweet.
Trooper Juan Rojas Tovar was wounded while attempting to take
Larry Bollin into custody. Bollin is accused of opening fire at the Kent Moore Cabinet facility where he worked. The shooting left one worker dead and four wounded.
