IF the pandemic has taught us anything, it has reminded us of the importance of mental health, equality, fairness and helping one another through. This week saw International Women s Day celebrate women s achievements and potential, while also raising awareness against bias and encouraging us all to act for equality. Here are five pictures from our archive featuring International Women s Day celebrations over the years. Women at Larkfield Community Centre got in on the act with a performance of Tony Roper s famous play, The Steamie . The performance was part of a day of action for International Women s Day back in 2005 and accompanied stalls featuring training opportunities, financial fitness, and community policing.
