“Buying and selling is probably happening in the same sectors. We are not selling real estate stocks and going into chemicals or going into the Whirlpools of the world because we still want the sector that we buy should be good and there should be good revenue visibility in the sector.”
Nifty Smallcap 250 has risen by 11.07%, 33.68%, and 37.31%, in the last three months, six months, and 1 year, respectively. Among the indices analysed by the brokerage, only Nifty Microcap 150 with a 10.64% uptick, delivered higher returns than Nifty Smallcap 250 last month. Nifty Next50 rose by 9.09% and Nifty 500 gained by 7.06%.
“For India, it is a good situation to be in where you have moderating global interest rates, a not so strong dollar, and not a crashing global economy. Inherent strength of domestic consumption should carry us through. Plus, the capex cycle which is just picking up should see us through the next two to three years.”
