Greenfield Committee Chairs tables meeting format decision; continuing remotely for July >Published: 7/8/2021 4:03:09 PM
GREENFIELD City Council and all subcommittee meetings will be held remotely for the rest of July, until the full council meets later in the month to decide how to move forward.
Committee Chairs met in person on Tuesday to decide whether to continue meetings in person, or to return to the video conferencing system Webex. Ultimately, councilors couldn’t come to an agreement and instead voted to table the question so it could be discussed at the next full council meeting on July 21.
In the same meeting, councilors all but Precinct 6 Councilor Sheila Gilmour, who expressed a conflict with her work schedule voted in favor of changing the start time of full City Council meetings from 7 p.m. to 6 p.m.
