Power Book III: Raising Kanan will take us back to where it all began, telling the story of how Kanan Stark (played by Curtis Jackson), James Ghost St Patrick (Omari Hardwick) and Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) came to be involved in the drug world. The Starz prequel will give fans an insight into how the former friends eventually became enemies, starting off with their days in high school. Another key character to play a major role in Raising Kanan is the titular character s cousin Jukebox (Anika Noni Rose).
