With the City of Laredo experiencing a significant fall in COVID-19 infections over recent weeks, Emergency Management Coordinator Guillermo Heard announced that the city will be making its coronavirus updates much less frequently.
There were 30 positives and one death announced on Thursday, bringing the overall totals to 43,229 positives and 820 fatalities dating back to the emergence of the pandemic locally in March 2020.

Laredo announces details of COVID-19 vaccine partnership with Curative

Details of the partnership between the City of Laredo and Curative labs were revealed to the public Thursday, with the quick, safe administration of the COVID-19 vaccine taking the utmost priority.
The partnership will begin on Monday, March 15 with a vaccination drive set to take place at Sames Auto Arena from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The clinic will run through Friday daily.
