Tailored solution meets requirement for supply of concrete aggregate for complex dam project
A JOINT-venture comprising Italy’s Cooperativa Muratori e Cementisti (CMC) di Ravenna, Thai company Ital Thai and Vietnam’s Song Da Corporation is using a 1,500 tonnes/h ICM–Terex MPS plant to produce aggregates for 4 million cubic metres of roller compacted concrete (RCC) and 500,000 cubic metres of conventional concrete for the construction of a 105m high x 700m long dam on the Nam Theun river in the Bolikhamsay Province of Laos.
The processing solution comprises two Simplicity 5220 vibrating grizzly feeders, two Cedarapids JS4552 jaw crushers, two Cedarapids MVP550X cone crushers, two Cedarapids MVP450X cone crushers, three ICM T-MAV 21 vertical-shaft impactors, two Cedarapids TSV6202 horizontal screens and six Cedarapids TSV8203 horizontal screens.
