Fall colors are turning, but there's a lot of green out there still. If you are looking at memories on social media, last year at this time was much more colorful! Let's look at progress in 2023.
Heat and humidity combined will create dangerously hot weather. Some areas will have heat index values over 100 degrees with some severe storms and high wind gusts
Expect temperatures to be far above average with little rain into the month of June across mid-Michigan. This will cause the fire danger to rise anymore and a lot of brown grass across the area.
Temperatures will start warming with rain potential by Thursday evening. That rain potential will turn into thunderstorm and severe thunderstorm potential by Friday morning and afternoon.
