Our Correspondent Diphu, Oct. 6 (EMN): More than 2500 population of Karbi Anglong are now relaxed as the all-weather road construction of Taralangso-1 to Sarthe Senar village via Langmili village has finally completed under the leadership of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Chief Executive Member (CEM), Tuliram Ronghang. Ward No.11 Ward Commissioner, Sagar Chetry, said this on construction of the much needed roads connecting the said villages. Speaking to Eastern Mirror, Chetry said that because of poor road conditions, the residents of the villages were suffering especially the school students, daily wage earners, local vegetable vendors, etc. during rainy seasons. There are four government schools and three polling stations with around 2500 voters in the Langmili area and consisting of around 25 villages. The length of the road is 4.5 km, beginning from behind Diphu Medical College and Hospital (DMC&H) and ending at Sarthe Senar village under the Diphu PWD Road division.
