In a report, Brig. Gen. Remus Medina, chief of the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG), identified the first suspect as 25-year-old Janesa Canoy. The suspect yielded around two kilograms of shabu worth PHP13.6 million during the buy-bust along Langit Road corner Crusher Street, in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City at around 4:30 p.m. Police also recovered two pieces of PHP1,000 bills, 15 bundles of boodle money, a pouch bag, and a mobile phone. The suspect will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while the pieces of evidence seized in the operation were brought to PDEG in Camp Crame for documentation.
