A NEW detective drama is being celebrated as a big boost for the city. ITV’s Grace was filmed in Brighton and Hove last year with city landmarks – including Brighton Palace Pier and the i360 – playing a starring role in the adaptation. People from across the city have expressed their “pride” in the city, as viewers across the country tuned in to watch the first instalment of the crime series.

She said: “At a time when we are preparing to come out of lockdown and open our city up again, it was a great boost to see the city and the pier presented in such a positive light.
