Easter and Christianity are about new beginnings, second chances, and renewed hope following cataclysmic loss and devastation. New life is at the heart of the Christian Faith and celebrating the promise of new life is part of Christian Witness, Christian ministry, and an authentic Christian life.
For well over three decades, Carlsbad has hosted an opportunity for new life and resurrection from the ashes of destruction through the program of Villa de Esperanza. Started under the leadership of the former Carlsbad Mental Health, the Villa (which is Spanish for House of Hope) has served men and women seeking to overcome the challenges of drug and alcohol addiction with significant, comprehensive, and compassionate rehabilitation and treatment.
