Several students from Washington Middle School last month travelled to Atlanta, Ga. to compete in the Ron Clark Academy s annual Amazing Shake competition, where they and about 260 other 5th-8th graders put their professional and etiquette skills to the test.
The FCHS Board of Education will meet tonight at 6 in the school study hall. It is scheduled to hear a presentation of the amendment proposal of the 2020-2021 budget and motion to move the June meeting to the 24

Illinois State Police District 19 Commander Captain Nathan Douglas has announced the results of a Nighttime Special Traffic Enforcement Patrol and Roadside Safety Check in Wayne County from this month. Troopers reported 10 total citations and 42 written warnings in the sTEP Patrol and eight citations and 33 written warnings for the safety check.
