DADE CITY â A 22-year-old woman faces two counts of DUI manslaughter nearly a year after troopers said she caused the collision that killed two motorcyclists.
Brooke Aline Everett was arrested Wednesday at her Dade City home, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The arrest report doesnât say why she was arrested 11 months after the incident. It does detail how the crash unfolded and what investigators uncovered.
Pasco spends $15 million to grow its government footprint

NEW PORT RICHEY â As Pasco County continues to grow, so has the need for space to accommodate the government services the county must provide. But the cost of expansion isnât cheap.
Over the past few months, the Pasco County Commission has approved spending more than $15 million to purchase a three-story office building to provide a new administrative office for the Pasco County Sheriffâs Office and to buy nearly 25 acres in Land OâLakes to expand its safety campus and provide more area for the countyâs fleet services.
