That is going to be a huge problem with this as these winds just continue to push inland. Pushing all that water inland up those into those inner coastal waterways. The lagoons and the rivers. Thats why those mandatory evacuations were ordered all up and down the coast and do it. We know that a lot of people evacuated here in Brevard County, which is a great sign. We know a lot of the shelters are full because emergency crews cant get to you. They cant get out in this. So, they have to wait until the storm passes. And then, you know, by then who knows what they will find. So, thats why its so important to get out ahead of the storm. Chris, were going to still be in this and beaten around for the next couple of hours before we start to get out of this system. But it is going to inch closer and closer to you throughout the day and i think the storm surge is really concerning me for you, as well as the damaging winds, chris. So, i want you to explain to me, jennifer. The impact of what it

Rob well, i can tell you guys Corpus Christi didnt get nearly what some of these coastal communities, smaller towns that took the eye got. Here is one example of some of the damage. And hopefully this is about as bad as it gets here in Corpus Christi. We just simply dont know yet. This is a big bring. Check out the side of this wall right behind me here. This entire wall came crashing down somehow during this storm. Let me get rid of that. You can see the mess behind me. This entire wall this is about 6 or 8 units behind me. Look up at the roof behind me here. Can you see the roof going up and down in the wind . Its incredible. I dont think the roof is going to give but it wouldnt have taken much more for this entire. Look at that that is something else. So something brought this wall down. I guess you have to assume it was the wind. Look at that roof go up. That is just amazin
Hurricane nate made landfall late saturday near the mouth of the Mississippi River with winds of about 85 miles an hour. The storm also bringing heavy rains and causing storm surges. It is only a category one storm one of the uighurs of the season it should not be taken lightly especially given the destruction seen in Central America when nate was just a Tropical Storm. No one should take the storm lightly. It is already claimed the lives of at least 20 people and nicaragua and in honduras and as we know from past storms low intensity it doesnt necessarily mean low impact. Adam that was landfall one. It is back out over open water and that initial landfall was a Barrier Islands just off the delta of the Mississippi River so we are back out running towards mississippi once again. That will take anoth
Treatment for brain cancer. When he made this speech were going to show you from last october, senator mccain was already well into a battle that he knew almost no one ever wins. Im the luckiest guy on earth. I have served americas cause, the cause of our security and the security of our friends, the cause of freedom and equal justice all my adult life. I havent always served it well. I havent even always appreciated what i was serving, but among the few comp sayings of old age is the acuity of hindsight. I see now i was part of something important that drew me along in its wake even when i was diverted by other interests. I was knowing or not along for the ride as america made the future better than the past. We owe him our thanks for that. Well have more on the senators condition a bit later in the program. First, though, the commander in chief he has so often been at odds with. And we should note the president made no mention of senator mccain at an event in ohio. Not a single menti
