The Lady Warriors insure a spot in the Wyoming 3A Girls Basketball State Championship Tournament. Worland started post season with a 13-4 record having won six in a row that included a 36-34 win over a Wyoming top ranked team in the Lander Valley Lady Tigers.
Worland would first take on a Lovell team that the Lady Warriors had already defeated twice in the regular season. 62-25 and 52-23. Ask any coach they will all say beating a team three times in a season is a very tall order.
The opening round of the Wyoming 3A Quad Championships was a elimination game. No matter your regular season record. Failure or success. No game mattered more.

After losing three in a row the Lady Warriors have won three in a row. Worland’s girls basketball team is 7-3 overall and 2-0 in the Northwest Quad.
The weekend for the Lady Warriors became a strong case for being one of the best 3A girls basketball teams in the state of Wyoming. After beating Powell on Friday night the Lady Warriors faced Lovell on Saturday night at Warrior Gymnasium.
The Lovell Lady Bulldogs came into Saturdays game 5-3 having losses to Douglas, Wyoming’s number one ranked 3A girls basketball team. Lovell split with Rocky Mountain, Wyoming’s number one ranked 2A girls team. They also had a loss to Cody, Wyoming’s number four ranked 4A team.
