mentioned. peter teal, a big supporter of his, would be wonderful at usdr because he would push back on these trade deals but he wouldn t get us into a tariff w tariff war. jennifer, i m wondering how it s translating in new hampshire and in the party there. the first two picks, reince priebus and bannon. reporter: well, i think that reince priebus is an outstanding choice, and i think it sends a really strong message, not just to republicans but to the american people that the president-elect is taking this very seriously and he s bringing good leaders. reince has a reputation not just for the outstanding work that he s done at the rnc but of being a bridge builder and a leader. i think what folks are looking for is for the president-elect to make good on the promise that he made on election night when he gave his speech very early, actually, the next morning when he said he wants to be a president for all-americans and i think that they re going to be
states first. it is not the slam dunk that so many think it will be. people have various views on the issues. even within the group of people who support it. he has to listen to more of them. it is not as simple of saying this is what i want. this is what s going to happen. let s talk about the transition team. his kids are on there. his son-in-law is on there. they will take care of his business. that is interesting overlap. raises questions. potentially about conflict of interest. he made a couple of appointments. reince priebus and bannon. it is not that surprising they are on the transition team. they were key advisers on the campaign. it is against federal law for them to have staff positions in the administration. you can t hire them. the reality is you don t have to have a job within the white house officially to be a strong adviser. we should expect them to continue being strong advisers. especially ivanka on issues related to women and mothers. and jared kuschner with poli
