Because the obligation for the grant is rapidly approaching, the airport is that high risk of losing these critical federal funds. Mister secretary, this project is important to the city of phoenix into sky harbors future growth. Will your Department Support our efforts to extend the period of eligibility for the grant and work with the airport on this modified project . So it does not lose these critical federal funds . Our goal, of course, is for every grant recipient to succeed when funds are awarded. In this case, it was 2019 funding. I believe the issue here had to do with meeting the obligations deadline, with the proposed change in scope they had. Now, a little bit about how this program came to be. We are delighted to have aaron adams with us tonight who is the director of education at the hermitage. Youll be hearing a little bit more about her in just a moment. Highland was fortunate to open new exhibits this past september. These exhibits for the first time in history interpreted the building into that you see the photograph as a guest house built during monroes presidency by two enslaved carpenters named peter in georgia. Prior to we thought this building to be part of the main house. This is a really significant recuration to now have this building curated as it was as a guest house.
