EUGENE By any measure, Wednesday’s early national signing day was a resounding success at Oregon for a third consecutive year.
Mario Cristobal and his staff are turning identifying elite talent, recruiting players to UO’s football palace in the Pacific Northwest and putting pen to paper into an annual display of one-upmanship with themselves and beginning to build a talent gap within the Pac-12. Oregon signed 20 players throughout Wednesday morning to the No. 6 class in the country in the 247Sports Composite, another program-best.
