There have been 316 COVID-19 deaths in Kenosha County. Kenosha County Public Health is reporting 82,851 negative test results. Wisconsin Department of Health Services is reporting a positive rate of 9,567/100,000 people and a 2 percent case fatality rate in Kenosha County as of Friday. In Kenosha County, 45.94 percent of the population has had at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 43.56 percent are fully vaccinated as of Thursday (the last day data was available), reports Kenosha County Public Health.

July 20, 2021 lake test results: PHLA beach and Lilly Lake under caution – West of the I

Jul 20th, 2021 Swin cautions are in effect for Paddock Hooker Lakes Association beach on Paddock Lake and Lilly Lake after testing Monday by Kenosha County Public Health showed elevated E.coli levels there. The State Department of Health recommends posting warnings at beaches when test results indicate a E.coli level of 235/100mL or more and closing a beach when test results exceed E.coli 1000/100mL. The test results that resulted in the cautions were: PHLA – 260 E.coli/100 mL. Lilly Lake – 727 E.coli/100 mL. Those locations were scheduled to be re-sampled Tuesday. Twin Lakes recognizes mother and daughter who saved woman struggling in Lake Mary Thursday – West of the I

A mother and her 12-year-old daughter from Michigan were recognized on Saturday for their instrumental part in saving a local woman who was struggling in Lake Mary in Twin Lakes Thursday. Twin Lakes Police Department Chief Adam Grosz called Jennifer and Maria Burlingame “true heros” and credited them with saving the life of Tina Krause, 51 of Twin Lakes at a recognition ceremony held Saturday morning at the village Police Station. “They did a very brave and heroic thing,” Grosz said.
