As part of its 12th annual Share the Love Event, Subaru Hawaiʻi has donated a combined $45,000 to Maui Food Bank, Maui Humane Society and Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi.
Subaru Hawaiʻi has directed the majority of proceeds from this year’s “Share the Love” event, running Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, to benefit three local nonprofits.
An estimated 9,330 students across all islands will benefit from the Tools for Schools funds for classroom improvements, including instructional technology, lab and exercise equipment, books, art supplies and more. The project recipients come from 50 schools located in both rural and urban communities, with 34% on Maui.
Toyota Hawaiʻi will cover admission fees for up to 3,000 attendees at the 2023 Pumpkin Patch at Kula Country Farms on Maui this Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A portion of the admission fees from the “Kamaʻāina Sunday” event will go toward the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.
