Our Neighborhood Group represents 600 households, about 875 merchants and members and our board of directors unanimously voted to go with the pagoda palace option. We felt it was finally the best one that was presented. And ive been to all the meeting in the fall and many of our members are transportation chair steve taber who is on spur. And i just think its an excellent thing. It is the least impact to merchants. I

It would the environmental approvals from both the Planning Department and the federal Transit Administration, i met briefly with the fta this morning to discuss the topic and theyre fully briefed on this report presented to you today. And i should have at least a preliminary review from the fta by the end of this week. Those are the only three approvals and funding, and additional local funding. Pursue the pagoda option extracting a Boring Machine to columbus and union. Supervisor chiu also wanted me to offer our sincere thanks to the sfmta staff as well as staff from other relevant departments specifically the city attorneys office, planning, and the department of building inspection because although were not there yet, the city staff that had been working on this project has engaged in an incredible amount of work in a short amount of time to even get where we are now. We do we are cautiously optimistic that the city will achieve agreement with the Property Owner and that we will be able to move forward at planning on thursday and at the board on the coming monday.
