A LOGISTICS company will be helping to fund a drive to plant half a million trees across Lancashire This comes as Chorley-based TVS Supply Chain Services partners with the Ribble Rivers Trust on a project known as Lancashire Woodland Connect. The campaign aims to plant 500,000 trees in the county over the next decade. Comapany CEO Andrew Jones said: “TVS SCS were pleased to be supporting Ribble Rivers Trust by planting trees at Crow Wood in Burnley as part of the Trust’s initiative in woodland creation to tackle carbon emissions and support a healthier environment. CEO Jack Spees and the Trust’s Volunteer Supervisor Rob Cooper were joined by myself and a number of TVS SCS colleagues on the day.
