Police have delighted school children by teaching them a number of England chants and filming it for social media ahead of tonight s Euro 2020 final with Italy. Officers from Chorley attended All Saints Primary School in the town to deliver an important message for the kids for this weekend - Football is Coming Home! A video posted on Chorley police s Facebook page shows Sgt Harrison banging a drum in time with a few England chants to get the children in the mood for tonight s big game. The pupils from year six had learned the lyrics, meat pie, sausage roll, come on England give us a goal , as well as the words to Three Lions (Football s Coming Home).

A MAJOR INCIDENT has been declared after a suspected gas explosion which reportedly destroyed up to three terraced houses in Lancashire in England.
A young child has died and four other people have been injured, two seriously, local police have confirmed.
Lancashire Police said they were called at 2.40am today to the scene of the explosion after reports “a number” of houses on Mallowdale Avenue had collapsed.
