ISD girls place top 5 in robotics competition

The COVID-19 pandemic didn’t stop four students from Illinois School of the Deaf from signing up to compete in a robotics competition against 1,200 other teams from 62 countries.
What they didn’t realize at the time is that they would end up placing among the top five teams in their 9-to-11 age group.
The team, the Robotics Girls, consists of triplets Clodia, Celine and Covina Kuhn, 9, and Maci Lovekamp, 11.
