July 2021 will be the Summer of Love in Hempfield Township as the Stage Right Theatre Company presents its production of the musical “Hair” this weekend. “Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical” is considered a landmark musical. It tells the story of the tribe, a group of politically active, long-haired hippies of the Age of Aquarius living a bohemian life in New York and fighting against conscription into the Vietnam War. Claude (Anthony Marino Jr.), his good friend Berger (Kevin O’Leary), their roommate Sheila (Ryan Jordan) and their friends struggle to balance their lives, loves and the sexual revolution with their rebellion against the war, their conservative parents and society.
